Greg Behrman is a Member of the Policy Planning Staff at the Department of State. He covers several Middle Eastern issues. Behrman was formerly a Fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights at Harvard University and the Henry Kissinger Fellow for Foreign Policy at the Aspen Institute.
He is the author of The Most Noble Adventure: The Marshall Plan and the How America Helped Rebuild Europe. The book was selected by The Washington Post as one of the Top 100 Non-Fiction Books of 2007 and was #5 on the Foreign Affairs Best-Seller list. The book was positively reviewed in The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs and other publications. Behrman is also the author of The Invisible People: How the U.S. Slept Through the Global AIDS Pandemic, The Greatest Humanitarian Catastrophe of Our Time and his writing has appeared in Newsweek International, International Herald Tribune and LA Times.
