On Friday, October 30th, in Bogota, the United States and Colombian governments signed the Defense Cooperation Agreement (formally titled a Supplemental Agreement for Cooperation and Technical Assistance and Security, or SACTA), which is now in force. This Agreement is a natural part of our relationship and allows us to continue working together closely to respond to security challenges within Colombia.
