Question: What information do we have about reports that a University of Georgia professor recently visited North Korea and met with North Korean officials? Was he carrying any messages on behalf of the U.S. Government?

Answer: University of Georgia Professor Park Han-sik recently visited North Korea as a private citizen. He was not carrying out any duties on behalf of the U.S. Government.
