Chapter 3: Conclusion
These steps reflect the collective experience of setting up the special needs program at the American School of Johannesburg. Many of the steps are generic and can easily be transferred into the specific settings of other schools. While setting up a program may seem at first like a daunting task, the special needs students in all our schools will surely benefit from our focused attention.
